Stories from the Qaswa Family

Assalamu alaykum,

We're putting together a book that celebrates how Ramadan and Eid are experienced across the different cultures that make up our Qaswa family. We want your story — not a textbook entry, but the real, lived memories of what Ramadan and Eid felt like when you were growing up.

Your answers don't need to be polished. Write how you speak. The more specific and personal, the better. A detail about the sound of the suhoor alarm, the smell of a particular dish, or the colour of your Eid outfit tells more than a paragraph of generalities.
